There was a single vehicle fatality crash on Thursday, Sept. 7 at approximately 6:31 p.m. CT.
A 2013 Peterbilt semi driven by Steven Fenwick, Williston, ND, was northbound on 115th Ave. NW, just north of Ray, when Fenwick, appeared to have a medical emergency while driving. The semi went off the road and into the east ditch. The semi continued through a fence and struck a tree row before coming to rest in the front yard of a residence. Fenwick was pronounced deceased on scene.
At the time of the crash the road conditions were dry and the weather conditions were clear.
The agencies who responded to the crash were North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williams County Sheriff’s Office, Ray Fire Department and Ray Ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
