"A Hard Day's Night" Returning To Rough Rider Center

After two years, "A Hard Day's Night" is returning to the Rough Rider Center for another concert on Saturday, Aug. 19. This year, they are performing their 50s and 60s Revue Tribute which is Tribute to Roy Orbison, Everly Brothers, Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Bobby Darin, and Frankie Valli.

According to Brock White, City of Watford City marketing and communications coordinator, "A Hard Day's Night" was asked to come to the Rough Rider Center in 2021. They did their tribute to the Beatles, and it was very popular. Joshua Nollmeyer, Rough Rider Center recreation manager, decided to bring them back again. The night starts with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. for a cash bar, dinner is at 6 p.m., and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Everything is in the Rough Rider Center's Convention Hall.

Jeff Boxell, Joe Covert, Aron Helm, and Kevin Fransen are the current band members for "A Hard Day's Night" playing John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr in their usual shows. According to their website, http://www.harddaysnight.com, in 2006, Covert became one of the founding members of the tribute band. The band has played hundreds of shows all over the midwest. With his bandmates, Covert creates a product second to none.
