Back to School Bash and Vendor Show will be held Aug. 13 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Lewis and Clark Trail Museum, Alexander, ND.
Alexander has had a vendor show off and on for a couple of years, now. Cathy White, the director of the museum, thought of something better for the vendor show. She changed the name and part of the goal. For the first time, this year, there will be a school supply drive. She said, “I know of and have seen students in need and it’s not fair that the teachers have to purchase supplies for them.” With the Back to School Bash and Vendor Show, she is hoping to get a lot of support in the school supply drive from the community.
In 2022 the vendor show had a decent turnout, bringing in 200-300 people. White hopes to bring in more this year and will have some of the vendors indoors. Besides vendors and the school supply drive, there will be lots of fun things for kids to do at the Back to School Bash and Vendor Show. There will be games, crafts, food trucks, a bouncy house, face painting, and water games.
With the event just around the corner, White is still looking for vendors. Those wishing to participate need to call the Lewis and Clark Trail Museum at 701-828-3595 or Director Cathy White at 480-231-7641.
The Lewis and Clark Trail Museum is located at 102 Indiana Ave E, Alexander.
