Williston, ND - Get ready for some rip-roaring, high-flying, stunts at the 3rd Annual Williston Airshow on Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Williston Basin International Airport! Gates open at 7 a.m. followed by the airshow at 11 a.m. Enjoy local food vendors, static exhibits, airplane rides for purchase, and world-renowned airshow performers including Minot’s very own Kent Pietsch, The Misty Blues All Woman Skydiving Team, and a beautifully restored B-25!
“We expect the airshow to attract about 4,000 spectators,” said Williston Airport Director Anthony Dudas. “This will be a family-friendly aviation event that showcases world famous performers, our airport, and area vendors. We can’t wait to see you at the airshow!”
General admission to the airshow is $25 per adult at the gate. Premium seating is also available for purchase. Additionally, there are corporate partnership opportunities available for companies and organizations.
This year, the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast Fly-In will return from 7 a.m.-9 a.m. (pilots get into the event free when they fly-in). The free breakfast will be available to airshow guests while supply lasts.
The skies will come alive at 11 a.m.! Sydney Helgeson, Miss North Dakota 2023, will kick off the airshow with her rendition of the National Anthem.
“We are so excited about the high level of performers we have scheduled for the 2023 airshow,” said Dudas. “There is something for everyone, from aerobatic stunts to parachuting.”
