Fargo-Moorhead Community theater is set to visit Watford City for a performance of their production of “The Hello Girls” on Saturday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Watford City High School Performing Arts Center at 2313 Wolves Den Parkway, Watford City.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the performance of “The Hello Girls” will begin at 7:30 p.m.

From New York to Paris, from ragtime to jazz: “The Hello Girls” chronicles the story of America’s first women soldiers in this new musical inspired by history. These intrepid heroines served as bilingual telephone operators on the front lines, helping turn the tide of World War I. They then returned home to fight a decades-long battle for equality and recognition, paving the way for future generations.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors (65+) and $10 for kids.

A preview of the show will be performed at the Long X Visitor Center and Long X Arts Foundation at 100 2nd Ave. SW on Friday, July 7 at 5 p.m. as part of the Gallery Open House event. All are welcome to that performance with refreshments served.
The Flow and Pop Gallery Open House is open all day from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. followed by a Bubble Glazing Class at 5:30 p.m. as part of Katie Vasbinder’s show featuring paintings and ceramics. Since 1946, Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) has provided a wide range of performance and education opportunities to the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area and surrounding communities. FMCT is the longest-running community arts organization in the Red River Valley Region of Minnesota and North Dakota. This production is part of their state-wide theater outreach initiative.
