Sidney's EMCMHC Staff Recognized Mental Health Awareness Month In May

Once a week, for the entire month of May, the staff of the Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Sidney wore t-shirts to recognize May as Mental Health Awareness Month. The theme this year was "More Than Enough".

Mental health is essential for a person's overall health. According to an article on http://www.youth.gov, Mental Health Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans' lives, and to celebrate recovery from mental illness.

Sidney's EMCMHC offers Mental Health Services in the form of Mental Health Assessment/Individual and Group Therapy, Veterans Affairs Services, Anger Management, Montana Assertive Community Treatment Services, and Crisis/Emergency Services. They are located at 1201 W. Holly, Suite 4 in the Community Health Building in front of the Police Station. Their friendly staff are ready and willing to help.
