All area children from pre-school-9th grade are invited to a week of fun and learning as Zion Lutheran and Community Presbyterian Churches, Fairview, host Vacation Bible School June 5-8 with the theme of Safe in the Fire, A Story of Faith: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace.
The fun-filled week kicks off Sunday, June 4 with a parade at 4 p.m. with golf carts, side by sides, gators, antique cars full of kids, and adults, riding through the streets of Fairview. A picnic and games will follow at Zion Lutheran Church.
Please pre-register your kids at the Zion Lutheran Church office, if possible, to allow for an accurate count for lunches. But don’t worry if you don’t. Registration also takes place each morning from 8:30-9 a.m. in the Zion entry so it’s never too late to join in the fun! Kids will be divided into age groups with fun projects planned for each one as they learn the inspiring Bible story. A full lunch will be served each day, with pickup of kids at 12:35 p.m.
Everyone in the community is invited to the Grand Finale Thursday evening at 6 p.m. when the VBS students show off their knowledge and talent at the presentation of The Musical: Safe in the Fire: A story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo face the fire, But Not Alone! A festive reception will follow. You don’t want to miss this!
Please call Zion Lutheran Church at 406-742-5523 if you have any questions.
