Friends and family are hosting a benefit for Sidney-Fairview native Tess Hurley Saturday, June 3 at The Waterhole #3, Fairview. The free-will donation feed starts at 6 p.m. featuring BBQ burgers with all the trimmings. A silent auction runs from 1-8 p.m. followed by a live auction. Anyone wishing to donate items for either auction may drop them off with Kim at The Waterhole #3.
Hurley is a single mom of four, well known in the community, from either Sadie's Cafe, Richland Federal Credit Union or The Oasis Casino. She suffered a brain aneurysm on April 27, 2023 and was flown to St. Vincent's for treatment. The surgery went well but doctors discovered another aneurysm that needs to be closely monitored. This means multiple trips to meet with the neurosurgeon in Billings. Hurley is progressing well, doing physical therapy as prescribed, but she has a long road ahead of her. Your generosity at the fund raiser would go a long way in easing her journey.
An account has also been set up at Richland Federal Credit Union in Sidney for anyone wishing to make a donation.
