Lambert Ambulance EMTs Donated AED To Lambert Sports Complex

The Lambert Ambulance, with their Foundation for Community Care funds, has donated an AED to the Lambert Sports Complex.

Yvette Lien, AEMT and former Foundation board member, knew there were generous donations from our community in memory or honor of people in the local community. Yvette talked with the other Lambert EMTs and they all agreed that this was a great use of these funds.

The Lambert Sports Complex hosts many track meets, football games and other community events. Having an AED on-site at all times ensures that if someone has a cardiac event, that an AED can be used quickly and increase their chances of survival.

AEDs are made for the general public to use safely while EMS is being dispatched. Lana Watson, AEMT, got the device ordered and the Lambert School installed it.

The EMTs and Lambert School staff think this is a great addition to our beautiful sports complex. "Hopefully we never have to use it, but we have it if needed. We thank all the donors that contributed to the Lambert Ambulance fund through the Foundation to help this happen."
