Daniel Garrett Lawrence was born March 12, 1970, to Gary and Susan (Roberts) Lawrence in Glendive, MT. Dan was raised on the family farm south of Wibaux. Dan left this world suddenly on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at the Sidney Health Center, Sidney, MT with his family by his side.

Dan was always telling stories about the adventures he had growing up. Those times left a lasting impression and lifelong friends. Many dirt roads travelled, guns shot, and beers drank.

In July 1998, Dan married Cyndi Petitt in Miles City, MT. From that union he got the baby girl that he loved more than anything, Brook. A few years later, Blane came along, and Dan got his best friend and son wrapped in one body. The marriage didn't last but they were able to raise the kids cooperatively.

Dan had a college education he never used and often credited his mom for being the only reason he even wasted that money. Dan had several jobs driving truck, welding, selling seeds, parts, and beer and blading county roads. The best job he ever had was working with Blane. They started a lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal business 2 years ago. Dan cherished every minute he got to spend teaching Blane and working alongside him.

On a fateful New Year's Eve, Dan asked Lindsey for the midnight kiss and the rest was history. He considered them married from that day forward and they made it official in 2007. Dan and Lindsey had many adventures together and loved their day trips on the motorcycle or side by side. Dan taught Lindsey to live life without plans, just let it happen and enjoy the ride. He changed and built on to their home to make it their oasis and a place they would want to be.

Dan's whole life changed the day his "Bebe" Alexa was born. Being a grandpa was the highlight of his life. Braxtyn came along and you could see the spark in his eye that he had another boy to take on adventures and teach all the good stuff.

Passionate and honest are the best words to describe Dan. When he spoke, he let you know exactly what he thought. As he learned things through his hours of study, he was passionate to share that information even if you didn't want to hear it. Dan's hugs will be missed by many - his strong arms let you know how he felt about you. He would tell us to wipe our eyes, put on our big girl pants and get to work.

Dan is survived by his wife, Lindsey (Price); daughter, Brook (Korey) Judd; son, Blane Lawrence; and grandkids, Alexa and Braxtyn Judd all of Sidney, MT; his mother, Susan Lawrence, Wibaux, MT; sister, Kristin (Richard) King of Paducah, KY; father and mother-in-law, Arlen and Lonnie Price; siblings in law, Bethany Price (Justin and Jessica), Glendive, Todd Price (Kalen and Conner), Sidney, Neal Price and his wife April (Carter and Jackson), Savage; his beloved cat M; and many precious uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Lawrence; grandparents, John and Mae Lawrence and William and Mavis Roberts; brother-in-law, Brad Price; and way too many friends.
