The Sidney Sons of Norway Lodge 489 will be hosting an afternoon of interactive demonstrations and presentations of local artistry, crafts and cultural delicacies.
The event will be held March 4 from 1-4 p.m. at the Sidney Elks Lodge main room.
This is the second annual event that was created to introduce the community of all ages to not only Scandinavian culture, but an opportunity to expand on the awareness of what Sidney residents have been up to in their own special mediums.
Plans for the afternoon include lefse making as well as other Norwegian treats, macrame and gnome making stations. There will also be demonstrations from local artists including Yin Yu, Lucy Lovec, Norwegian presentation by Sig Rudie at 2 p.m. and a concert by “Eric and Arty of the Upper Missouri” from 3-4 p.m., just to name a few.
Come join us March 4 from 1-4 p.m. at the Sidney Elks Lodge main room for an experience you will be sure to enjoy.
This event is free to the public and everyone of all ages is welcome.
