The deadline to register for the 10th Annual Montana Farmers Union Women’s Conference is fast approaching.
Women have until Wednesday, Jan. 18, to register for the event planned for Feb. 10-12 at Fairmont Hot Springs. Tickets cover the full weekend and include a discounted student rate option. Women also can opt for a one-day ticket for Friday and/or Saturday.
This year’s event celebrates connections formed through the event’s history as well as Montana’s farming heritage, with hands-on workshops and breakout sessions, panel discussions on the art of storytelling and how to encourage youth leadership, professional headshots, personality assessment workshops and more. Rebecca Undem and Courtney Brown Kibblewhite will be featured as keynote speakers.
Even with the full agenda, plenty of time is built into the weekend for soaking in the hot springs and networking with other attendees.
MFU member Charlotte Kelly, who helped plan the event, encourages women to attend.
“Even if you come home with one thing that clicks with you, it’s worth it – and just the whole sisterhood thing,” Kelly said. “And who doesn’t want to go sit in a hot springs?”
