Upcoming Programs At Fort Buford & Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center

Williston, ND – The public is invited to these upcoming events at Fort Buford and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Williston. All events are free and open to the public. All times are Central time.

Nov. 17: History Book Club, 7 p.m. Join other history buffs for a discussion of this month’s book, “Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies” by Jared Diamond. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.

Nov. 19: 19th Century Sewing, Textile Arts, and Projects, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.

Nov. 20: Historical Games at the Barracks, 2-4 p.m. Participate in games that may have been played at the fort long ago such as cribbage, cards, and checkers. Fort Buford State Historic Site.

The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is part of Fort Buford State Historic Site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is open Wednesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. CT, Sunday 1-5 p.m. CT. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Fort Buford is currently closed.
