The MonDak Heritage Center announces an exhibition of works from the MDHC Permanent Collection on display through Nov. 12 at the MonDak Heritage Center, 120 3rd Ave. SE, Sidney.
The MonDak Heritage Center is home to 300 plus pieces of art in our permanent collection. Many have been donated by the artist or members of the MonDak Heritage Center. When the opportunity presents itself, we enjoy selecting pieces from the collection out and putting them on display. Many of the pieces currently exhibited are by local artists: Linda Conradsen, Charlotte Rees Gabisch, Jerry Cornelia, Elsie Karst, Arne Kvaalen, and Emmaline Mason, just to name a few. The MDHC Permanent Art Collection includes watercolor, oil, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, macramé, mixed media and more.
Please visit us soon to enjoy the opportunity to see this exhibition of infrequently exhibited artwork.
The MonDak Heritage Center is funded in part by coal severance taxes paid based upon coal mined in Montana and deposited in Montana's cultural and aesthetic projects trust fund.
The MonDak Heritage Center is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday from 1-4 p.m. Admission is FREE. For more information call 406-433-3500 or e-mail [email protected]. Visit us online at http://www.mondakheritagecenter.org.
