On Friday, Oct. 14 at approximately 4:20 p.m. CST there was a one vehicle rollover about 17 miles west of Williston, ND.
A 1995 Chevrolet Astro driven by Elmer Pariseien, Belcourt, ND, was traveling southbound on 153rd Ave. NW, County Road 5. The Chevrolet lost control, entered the ditch, struck a tree, rolled and came to rest on its wheels. A female passenger, Theresa Parisien, Belcourt, ND, was transported by ambulance to CHI St. Alexius, Williston. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. Both the driver and passenger had their seatbelts on at the time of the crash.
At the time of the crash the road conditions were good and the weather was clear.
The agencies that responded to the crash were North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williams County Sheriff’s Office, Williston Rural Fire Department and Williston Ambulance.
The crash remains under the investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
