Sidney is hosting the Eastern Montana 5th Annual “Out of Darkness” Walk Saturday, Sept. 17 at Veterans Memorial Park on Main.
Registration is free and participants are encouraged to join and create teams by going online at https://tinyurl.com/3h9xtcv2. Walkers can check in at 9 a.m. Opening ceremonies will start at 10 a.m, with the walk to follow.
Walkers who raise at least $150 by Sept. 17 will get a free t-shirt. and those who register by Friday, Sept. 16 and raise $50 can register to win either a wallet or bandana. Donations are accepted from those not wishing to participate in the walk. All funds will be given to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to be used for education and awareness efforts.
