Starting May 26, the Long X Visitor Center, Watford City, will be hosting a family-friendly BBQ event every Thursday from 5-8 p.m. This event will recur every Thursday night up until July 14.
The event brings the community together and helps raise funds for local nonprofits.
This community charitable event will have several vendors, live music by local artists, a beer garden, sampling, a $5 meal, games, and fun activities for all ages.
The $5 meal includes a foot-long hot dog, a bag of chips, bottled water, and a cookie. The Long X Liquor store will also be selling stadium cups - once an individual purchases a stadium cup for $5, they can get a beer on tap for $3 when they return the following Thursdays.
T-shirts and hats will also be available for purchase at the event and all proceeds will go to the chosen benefactor for the week.
“I am looking forward to everyone coming together. We had so much fun last year with the smiling faces, dancing, and kids playing,” stated LeAnn Brown, Long X Liquor Store general manager.
“This year, we have a ton more event sponsors, which gives us the opportunity to give more this year.”
