Attention Job Seekers: Richland County Job Fair, April 19

In an effort to connect job seekers with employers, the Sidney Chamber of Commerce, Sidney Job Service, Sidney-Richland Library, Richland County Fair and Rodeo and Sidney Health Center have collaborated to host a Richland County Job Fair, April 19 from 3-7 p.m. at the Richland County Event Center.

“Richland County currently has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country at 1.9%, yet there are many jobs needing to be filled and many people looking for new or different employment opportunities to meet the needs of their lifestyles and families. It was out of these needs that the Richland County Job Fair was created, “said Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce Director of Programs, Katie Dasinger.

This is the first year the organizations have hosted an event like this.

“Job Seekers of all ages are encouraged to attend. We are hopeful the job fair will make a difference and will be something that both employers and potential employees can count on annually in Richland County.”

The event is free and open to the public. It features several businesses from around the area. Businesses are able to register for a booth at the job fair until April 13. To register call Katie at the Chamber at 406-433-1916 or send her an email at [email protected].
