The 2022 MonDak Ag Days and Trade Show will be held Tuesday and Friday, March 3-4 at the Richland County Event Center, Sidney.
Events begin on Thursday, March 3 with the opening of the Trade Show at 8 a.m. MT.
Tyler Tjelde will present “Soybean Production in the MonDak” at 9 a.m. followed by Patrick Gilchrist’s “Water Outlook in 2022”.
From 11 a.m.-12 noon, “Options for Burndown Not Named Glyphosate and Problematic Weeds that are emerging in and around Richland County” by Brian Jenks. Also from 11 a.m.,-2 p.m., 3 Pesticide Points will be available.
At 1 p.m., Paul Detloff will present “Water Quality and Herbicide Efficacy” followed by “Soil Health: The Effects of Fodder Removal and Soil Acidity” presented by Ryan Buetow and Chris Augustin from 2-4 p.m. Trade Show closes at 6 p.m.
Friday’s activities begin with theTrade Show opening at 7 a.m. Breakfast will be provided by Farm Bureau.
At 10 a.m., “Crop Market Outlook for 2022” presented by Gordon Holt; Dr. Chengci Chen will speak on “Fertilizer and Irrigation; Effects on sugar beet Yield and Sugar Concentration”. “Range Recovery After Drought and Grazing Strategies” will close out the afternoon.
Trade Show closes at 2 p.m. The Ag Days Pre-Banquet starts at 5 p.m. followed by the banquet at 6 p.m.
