Gary Buckley Medical Benefit Jan. 22, Sidney

On Saturday, Jan. 22 at Richland County Event Center, Sidney, there will be a medical benefit for Gary Buckley. Scheduled for 5 p.m. there will be silent auction. For more information check out the Facebook event. The silent auction will be followed by a free will donation roast beef supper at 6 p.m. catered by LeRoy Strasheim. After that there will be a live auction at 7 p.m. with Auctioneer Dan Goss, Montana Auction Company. A cash bar will also be available provided by the Sidney Elks Lodge.

Gary was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in March 2021, which has spread to his lungs and liver. He immediately began chemotherapy. In November an MRI revealed brain lesions. He had surgery to remove the lesions they were able to access in his brain, and he now begins radiation therapy on top of the chemotherapy. All of his family is doing the best they can to help Gary with his fight, while spending as much quality time with him as they are able. Gary and Linda are currently traveling to frequent doctor’s visits in Glendive and Billings to try to extend his time. This benefit will offset continuing medical expenses as Gary continues his battle.

For general questions and for more information call Melissa Buckley, 406-489-3806.
