The Fairview Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Lighting of the Bridge this Sunday, Nov. 14 from 5-7 p.m. at Sundheim Park. It's always a magical scene at the park with giant lighted ornaments, friends mingling, and Santa Claus handing out treats and listening to those important Christmas wishes.
New this year is live reindeer, maybe from the North Pole? A huge Thank you to Merchants Bank, Dirty Deeds LLC, W.L. Neu Construction and Barclay's Construction for sponsoring the reindeer.
Zion Lutheran Church's Luther Lights will be serving up hot dogs, beverages and treats for a free will donation. The youth group is raising money to attend the Western States Youth Gathering in Minneapolis, MN in July 2022.
The evening finale is the amazing fireworks show beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone is asked to please stay off the bridge during the entire event in order to set up the fireworks.
