A Preacher In The Patch event will take place at the Richland County Event Center Nov. 11-14, starting 7 p.m. each night. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. This program is a part of their "Time for a Great Turn Around" Tour, offering a variety of music, encouraging messages, and giving attendees an opportunity to look at life from a different point of view.
"We want to provide encouragement and smiles; bringing a positive high-quality event to rural areas," said Cody Roland, event director.
Heather Peterson and The Alliance Band; Riley Dakota and The Sweet Crude Band; and Rexella Daisy and Band will provide music.
Tim Lovelace (Grammy and DOVE nominee) from Nashville, TN will be performing both music and comedy; using humor to motivate and inspire.
Ron Evitt "A Preacher in The Patch (Oil Patch, that is!)' as heard on the radio, will share an "encouraging message" at the event each night.
"I have this event of putting miracles together! It is just so fun seeing what happens at these events because you know anything can happen at a gospel event," added Evitt.
He hopes to put God into the lives of others. "Say you have a person that is in a rut, they are frustrated with everything, you see it everywhere. Very few people know what they are on earth for, and they get sad and so I bring in the happiest team and my job is to get people into heaven."
After 83 events, Evitt and his team continue to travel across western North Dakota, eastern Montana, Idaho, South Dakota, and Wyoming to share the gospel. Evitt has performed at over 80 Evangelical events since 2000, with plans to add to that number each year.
Through these events and ministry, he has been able to touch and save many lives for the Lord. Evitt said, "We are excited to see what kind of miracles God will do here in Sidney."
