Sidney, MT - MSU Extension is offering Active Parenting Classes. Whether you’re a first-time parent or juggling a household, the first five years of your child’s life are extremely important. Active Parenting is a program created by Dr. Michael Popkin who is a parenting expert. The First Five Years program is a four-session class designed to help parents learn about a variety of items such as ages and stages of development, effective discipline that young children can understand, school readiness, and much more. Classes are Tuesday, Nov. 9-30, from 6-8 p.m., and are virtual. Classes are $10, scholarships are available, and registrants will receive a hard copy of the books prior to class.
