Donna Mrachek, owner of the Wild Flour Cafe & Bakery, Alexander, has added the new Cafe 60 menu to her current daily menu.
"Not only with the added Cafe 60 menu it will get people out to visit with each other," says Mrachek "Small towns need that," she continues.
Cafe 60 provides vouchers through the Region 1 Senior Services in Williston. Donations or additional vouchers may also be purchased,
Seniors pay a recommended $4 donation per meal voucher which may be purchased at Region 1 Senior Services (701)577-6751 or at the cafe (701)828-3168. They also accept SNAP.
Soup & salad combos are available which include the soup of the day with grilled ham & cheese, salad or 1/2 grilled chicken salad sandwich. Plus Cafe 60 daily selections of hamburger, cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich, Philly sandwich, hot hamburger, BLT, or chicken strips with one side such as a potato, vegetables, side salad or soup. Seniors can also order the daily specials or anything on the menu. All Cafe 60 meals include a serving of milk, fruit and vegetables. For those who can't come to the cafe, deliveries will be available.
The cafe also includes a bakery and is open 7 days a week 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
