The Long X Arts Foundation's Watford City Area Concert Association continues the 2021-22 concert series with a Five-man classical crossover vocal ensemble, Veritas. Composed of 3 tenors, 1 baritone, 1 bass, the group is becoming well known on the gospel circuit, but returning to backgrounds from opera, pop, rock and Broadway.
In 2012, when tenors Jeff Anderson, Andrew Goodwin and Jordan Johnson, baritone James Berrian, and bass Scott Lawrence came together as Veritas, their backgrounds, encompassing opera, musical theater, rock, and other genres, melded into a sound that's uniquely passionate, virtuosic, and powerfully communicative. They've inspired countless standing ovations, in theaters, multiple performances at Carnegie Hall, arena concerts, cruise ships, even in churches and prisons.
With seven past releases, spanning Broadway hits, classical repertoire, re-imagined pop favorites, and sacred standards, Veritas offers highly artistic arrangements sure to capture the hearts of every listener.
All this has been prelude to their upcoming album "A Time Together." Featuring 11 timeless chart-toppers which not only resonate with the artists themselves, but also take listeners on a journey through time, to places they may remember or have forgotten, or never visited before.
Veritas produces a wall of sound using marvelous voices and backing tracks along with a cappella renditions of songs including Stardust, I Got Rhythm, Bridge Over Troubled Water, American Anthology and more.
Veritas is the third concert of the 2021-22 Season. A $50 individual membership to the Concert Association will grant you access to three additional concerts throughout the season, including Duo Baldo, Feb. 1, 2022; The Chipper Experience Comedy Show, Feb. 16, 2022 and Crocodile Rockin', An Elton John Tribute, April 23, 2022. Individual concert tickets to Veritas are $35 for adults, $15 for students and 5 and under are free. Visit longxarts.com to learn more about the concert series.
