The Sidney Gymnastics Club annual Cartwheel-A-Thon will be October 3rd from 2-4 pm in Veterans Memorial Park. The gymnasts will be collecting sponsors that choose to give a flat donation or pay a certain amount per cartwheel (or forward roll if the gymnasts aren't able to do a cartwheel) during an allotted amount of time. It is very similar to the American Heart Association Jump Rope For Your Heart fundraiser. "Mommy & Me" gymnasts through Level-1 gymnasts will do cartwheels or forward rolls for 90 seconds. Level-2 gymnasts through Team gymnasts will do cartwheels for 3 minutes. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 gymnasts for money raised. Everyone is welcome to come watch. In case of inclement weather, the Cartwheel-A-Thon will be held at the Sidney Gymnastics Club.
