Upcoming Programs at Fort Buford and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center

WILLISTON, N.D. – The public is invited to these upcoming events at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Williston. All events are free and open to the public. All times are Central time.

Sept. 6 Flag Lowering Ceremony, 5 p.m. Fort Buford closes for fall/winter.

Sept. 7 Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center begins fall/winter hours: Wednesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m .; Sunday, 1-5 p.m .; closed Monday-Tuesday.

Sept. 16 Confluence History Book Club, 7 p.m. Join history buffs to discuss this month's book. Free refreshments.

Sept. 17-18 Confluence Sewing and Quilting, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. All experience levels welcome and instruction provided. Bring your own lunch.

The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is part of Fort Buford State Historic Site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Current hours for the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center are daily, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Fort Buford is currently open daily, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Beginning Sept. 7, Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m .; Sunday, 1-5 p.m .; and closed Monday-Tuesday.
