The Long X Arts Foundation and The McKenzie County Heritage Park will be hosting a “Good Old Fashioned” Barn Dance at the new Heritage Park Building on Friday, Aug. 20 in Watford City. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. followed by music at 7 p.m. There will be hot dog and burger plates for $5, kids games, and lots of dancing.
The music at the event includes the radio stars trio; Merrill Piepkorn (harmonica, guitar, vocals), Smokey Temple (steel guitar, acoustic and electric guitar, vocals), Loy Larson (champion fiddler, mandolin, vocals).
