Thistle and Lace
Several musical artists and local performers are set to entertain the Sidney community during the Sunrise Festival on June 12. This year, Larry Riggs and Leslie Bieber, The Cutting-Edge Dance Studio, Sidney Taekwondo, The Bennion Family (including Miss Teen Montana, Annika Bennion), Laura and the Soo Valley Boys and Felix Becker will be performing at the festival.
From noon to 1 p.m. the street dance band will be "Thistle and Lace". This is a husband-and-wife acoustic duo that will be performing all your favorites from classic rock to today's hits entertainment
"Sunrise Festival of the Arts always makes sure to include our local entertainment artists, and we just like to show off some of the local talent in general. I'm grateful that all these talented people are willing to perform for the Sunrise Festival of the Arts and I'm particularly excited for the diversity we have this year," said Kali Godfrey, Sidney Chamber of Commerce executive director.
All the performances will take place on a stage located on the intersection of E. Main and 2nd Ave. SE, seating will be available.
Entertainment will be paused at 1 p.m. for everyone to enjoy the Shriners Parade that will be coming through town.
