New Farmers Insurance Agent In Sidney: Rachel Leininger

After a few months of training and certifications, Rachel Leininger was officially appointed as a Farmers Insurance agent in Sidney, Feb. 1.

Through her position, Leininger is helping customers identify the insurance coverage that will best fit their needs - whether that is auto, home, renters, business, life, or recreational insurance.

"The local people are the best part about this position. In my short time at this agency, I have had the pleasure of meeting many new people. I love getting to know my clients and other members of the community while providing them with a valuable service and peace of mind. It's great to have the opportunity to help others find the best way to protect what they care about," said Leininger.

She explained that her time as an insurance agent has been both challenging and rewarding. She has really enjoyed the opportunity to meet and work with others in the community.

Before being appointed an insurance agent Leininger worked in customer service for several years. The job opportunity as an agent offered her a way to continue working with members of the community while owning her own business. She said, "I was unsure at first, as I knew that venturing into a new line of business would be challenging, but I have had a lot of support from friends and family."

She is glad she accepted the position because this gives her the opportunity to sponsor and participate in community events and charities. She added, "Our community is small and relies on the support of our local businesses."

Leininger grew up in Bozeman, MT, and moved to Sidney with her husband in 2010, where they had their daughter in 2013. She said, "I love spending time with family and friends.  I also like traveling and experiencing new people and places."
