After a devastating fire in October that burnt down most of Mimi's Kitchen, Sidney, the business has made an almost full recovery and is scheduled to have a grand re-opening on Saturday, May 22.
Mimi's Kitchen is a family-owned business owned by two local families that make customers their number one priority. They specialize in quality cutlery, cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, gourmet foods, coffee and other special gifts. They also offer cooking classes, shopping and lunches.
Mimi's Kitchen is excited to have bounced back from the fire and is happy to have their business up and running.
Mimi's Kitchen's retail side of things reopened for business on Monday, April 26. As of now, the business is open from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. and will begin opening at 7 a.m. when the kitchen is completed. They will offer grab and go breakfast and serve Chef Amy's daily lunches in addition to pies and other goodies.
