(The following is part of a partnership between the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture and Richland County Job Service Employers Committee to promote area employers as they seek employees).
The Meadowlark Public House is able to provide its employees more benefits than a lot of restaurants.
Those benefits include health insurance and paid vacation. Another great benefit is that Meadowlark pays part of the tuition if employees decide to further their education.
Boyde Frye, Meadowlark general manager, Sidney, says the restaurant is currently looking for line cooks and servers.
"It's a great work environment," Frye said. "There's always fun and room to move up into management positions for our restaurant workers."
Meadowlark is open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Frye said shifts are either 9 a.m.-3 p.m., or 3-9 p.m. Usually workers keep doing one of the two shifts. "We work with people's schedules," Frye said.
