Sheryl Lynn Gasho, 74, Beach, ND

Sheryl Lynn Gasho, 74, Beach, ND, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at her home. Visitation was held from 6- 8 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020 and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2020 at Silha Funeral Home, Beach, ND. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. at Silha Funeral Home with Pastor Warren Maxted officiating. Interment took place at Sunny Side Cemetery, Trotters, ND, following a luncheon.

Sheryl was born Jan, 3, 1946 to Carl and Dorothy (Etzel) Odean, Cedar Rapids, IA. She was raised and educated in Marion, IA, and graduated in1964.

She worked at Rockwell-Collins Radio in Iowa manufacturing radio parts for the U.S. Government for many years. She married Douglas Heiden and to this union two children were born, Randy and Robin. They moved to Utah and Sheryl worked at a college and sold real estate for several years. Following her divorce, she moved back to Iowa and worked at St. Luke's Hospital before moving to Beach in 2014. Sheryl married Harlan Gasho on Oct. 2, 2017 and worked as a ranch wife until the time of her passing.

She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, riding motorcycles and ATVs. She also liked branding calves, sorting through junk piles and anything related to ranch life.

Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dorothy; and a brother, Alan Odean.

She is survived by her husband, Harlan, Beach, ND; her son, Randy (Kelly) Heiden and their children, Sydney and Ava, Portland, OR; her daughter, Robin Heiden and her children, Tyree "Peaches" (Nick) Langworthy and Talisha Snyder, Salt Lake City, UT; her siblings, Carl Jr. "Butch" (Pat) Odean, Van Cleave, MS; Judy Stoddard (George Bessman), Belle Plaine, IA; Linda (Dave) Cook, Beach, ND; and Brian (Robin) Odean, Cedar Rapids, IA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
