Join The Sunny's Family Restaurant Family

(The following is part of a partnership between the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture and Richland County Job Service Employers Committee to promote area employers as they seek employees).

Sunny's Family Restaurant is a correct name for a place that treats its employees like they are part of the family.

"Our crew is like a little work family," Sunny's owner Anissa Gillespie said. "We care about each other. We watch out for each other."

Gillespie said the restaurant will need another server soon because a current employee is moving to another city. Restaurants are always looking for help in the kitchen.

She noted that about half of her staff are full-time employees. They get paid competitive wages. "The servers do really well with tips," Gillespie said.

Another benefit for employees is that there are no nighttime hours since Sunny's closes its doors at 3 p.m.

"So you can be home with your family and kids," she said.
