Richland County residents of every age can sign up for the Sidney-Richland County Library Summer Reading Program. The program will have over 100 prizes up for grabs.
We are very proud of this summer tradition at the library. We know that we offer one of the best programs in eastern Montana and western North Dakota. This program has traditionally been supported by the generosity of local individual and business donations. We knew this year would be tough economically for the community so the Library Board of Trustees elected to dig into our savings to support this year’s program.” explains Kelly Reisig, library director.
The program runs from June 22 -July 31. There will be some changes this year to reflect the changes with COVID-19. Participants will utilize a new program called READsquared. Participants can download the app or go online (http://srclmt.readsquared.com/) to create an account.
Summer reading will also offer special online events and programs, as well as make and take crafts for the kids. More information about the program can be found on the library’s web page at http://www.richland.org/spl, or on the Library’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/sidneyrichland.
