On May 20-22, the Upper Missouri District Health Unit in collaboration with the City of Williston, Williams County Emergency Management, Williams County Sheriff's Office, Williston Fire Department, Southwestern District Health Unit, ND National Guard and ND Department of Health hosted a drive-thru COVID-19 testing at Williston High School. The event was open to Williams County residents, essential workers including agriculture, oilfield, retail and food service.
Vehicles were allowed to line up along the route starting at 9:30 a.m. Testing went on until all test kits had been used. Resident testing totals were 189 from Williston, 251 from Crosby and 233 from Trenton. Testing results should be available within 48-72 hours but were not back by press time.
