The Lions and NHS team up to present academic scholar certificates to all Sidney HS students who have earned a 3.5 gps each of the first three quarters of the school year. A social is held where parents are invited while the certificates are presented and dessert and coffee or other beverage are served. The NHS induction of new members is held at the same function. Typically 100 or so students are honored at this event so the funds help offset the cost of the food.
