On Sunday, March 29 there will be an indoor fun and static air show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Sidney-Richland Airport, Sidney, MT. This is event is free to the public and sponsored by Richland Aviation and hosted in the Big Top hangar. So come and enjoy looking at radio control model aircrafts.
The model plane show will include aircrafts of all sizes and makes. There is no limit to the class; planes may be electric, gas or glow fuel powered.
This fun event includes flight of micro models designed for indoor flight. There will also be open flying for AMA member pilots and a contest to test the skills of pilots.
AMA members pilot fee is $15. Lunch will be available for $5 and drinks $1 each.
Come and watch the fun. If you are interested in becoming a pilot, there will be aircrafts available for purchase. The Sidney Plane Folks will welcome new members and are willing to assist in training new pilots throughout the summer at their flying field out on Lost Highway.
