Richland County Health Department Releases New Website

The Richland County Health Department released a new data-driven website on Friday, Feb. 14.

In small town Montana it's quite a feat to obtain, quantify and validate local information and figures. Information that might not only be sought after by those that are pondering a move to the area but also to those that live here already that want to get a greater sense of awareness. Data that is more readily available for larger population centers, or for the entire state as a whole, can paint a starkly different picture to that of Richland County.

On Friday, the Richland County Health Department launched a new digital version of their Quality of Life Assessment. The digital assessment pairs narrative storytelling with interactive charts and graphs featuring locally collected data. The new portal will provide both residents and would-be residents information on what it's like to live, work, raise a family, or retire here. It also provides and encourages site visitors to leave their own input or feedback.

The new Quality of Life Assessment portal can be found at http://www.tinyurl.com/RichlandCHNA.
