Pursuit Injury Crash In McKenzie County

On Saturday, Feb. 15, at 11:13 p.m. on Hwy 22, mile marker 136 (20 miles north of Killdeer), there was a rollover. A 2015 Ford Fusion driven by Miranda Holm, 20-year-old female from Williston, sustained serious injury. During the time of the crash the road conditions were good and it was snowing. No seatbelt was used and the airbag deployed.

Vehicle 1 was being pursued by TAT (Three Affiliated Tribes Police Department) for exceeding the speed limit at over 115 mph. TAT had been pursuing the vehicle for approximately 3 miles when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the roadway. The vehicle rolled and came to rest in the east ditch facing south on its passenger side. Driver was transported to CHI St. Alexius in Dickinson for serious injuries. Crash is still under investigation by the Highway Patrol.

The agencies involved were McKenzie County Sheriff Department, ND Highway Patrol, Mandaree Ambulance, and TAT.
