Meraki Boutique and Emersyn Lane opened up May 15 at 314 S. Central in Sidney. Billie Hillesland and Larysa Hurst, owners, started doing pop-ups and events in 2016 and in May opened their store. Meraki Boutique carries womens sizes small-3x, accessories and shoes. Upstairs is Emersyn Lane which carries infants to size 8. Emersyn is named after Larysas 1 year old daughter. In April 2019, owner Kelly Alvstad opened Bittersweet Hideout and Coffee Shack in Peifer's General Store. As the name implies, it's a fantastic spot to get a great cup of coffee or tea and just relax in quiet, welcoming surroundings. On September 28, 2019, Interstate Engineering relocated to 2177 Lincoln Avenue Southeast.
