As we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout October, CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Foundation invites local businesses and community members to donate in honor of local breast cancer survivors and those currently fighting the fight against breast cancer. Funds raised will provide no-cost mammograms for those who may not be able to afford this life-saving screening. The American Cancer Society recommends getting regular screening to find breast cancer early, however, for some women the cost is the barrier to receiving one. Join other donors in raising runs to help pay for mammograms for those without insurance. The CHI Foundation will be raising funds throughout the year to be able to offer this assistance.
