West Side second graders did an egg drop experiment at Moose Park on Thursday, August 29. They used different materials to protect an egg and then dropped it from the top bleacher and checked to see if it broke. Big Sky Science Education Enhancement (BSEE)from Billings provided hands on learning experiences to West Side 2nd through 5th graders August 26-30. BSEE board chairman Henry LaFever made a presentation on engineering a structure to protect a falling egg and building rockets. Throughout the week students designed and built their projects. Thursday and Friday the projects were field tested.
