There's an exciting new place for everyone to enjoy fantastic smoked meats and BBQ, right here in Sidney. Eric and Keri Brown have teamed up with Cheryl Olson to offer the best smoked brisket and pulled pork sandwiches in the area. Try some ribs, a buffalo burger or maybe a taco or loaded baked potato. Waffle fry nachos tickle anyone's taste buds, and there are lots of side dishes to go with any entrée. All the meats are prime and they will accommodate requests if possible.
Beginning Friday, September 6, Moe's will be offering a Friday night special which will include smoked prime rib, smoked turkey, steak, fajitas and lots more, with a different choice each week. If the special is a hit, it may be put on the regular menu. Finish off your special with a delightful mini smoked pecan pie with ice cream. A special kids menu is also offered.
Located at the Elks Lodge, 123 3rd St. S.W., in Sidney, Moe's is open to everyone from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday this week and Tuesday through Friday beginning September 3. Dine in, take out or have them cater your next event. Meats are also available by the pound. They also have a BBQ trailer which can be set up on location if requested for an event.
Keri said they opened the restaurant in response to multiple requests from friends and family. They have catered the Bakken Brewfest, weddings and fundraisers, while Eric has cooked for the crew during shutdowns at gas plants in the area. Browns have been in the area since 2012 while Olson has lived here since 2004. All three love to cook up delicious food for others to enjoy.
"We just wanted to bring good BBQ to Sidney," Keri explained when asked why they decided to open the restaurant. "It's nice having it in the Elks so diners can enjoy a cocktail if they wish," she added. She also stressed that, even though it is in the Elks Lodge, families are welcome and the restaurant is open to everyone.
Stop by the restaurant, call 406-480-7673 for orders and check out their Facebook page for specials. You'll be glad you did!
