The Watford City Chamber of Commerce held their Best of the West Ribfest Aug. 9 on Main Street. A total of 7,073.66 pounds of ribs were cooked by 22 teams. Officials estimated 10,000 people attended the event. The money raised will go to the Veterans Home in Lisbon, ND.
