Thanks to the generosity of Stockman Bank, The Eagle Foundation and the Dayton Foundation, 600 backpacks, with supplies, are available at no cost for Sidney elementary students. The backpacks are available at Central Elementary School during school hours. Registration for the 2019-20 school year takes place August 6-8 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Stockman Bank president Garth Kallevig said that the schools contacted them about the need for the backpacks and they were happy to step up to the plate for the second year in a row, in a team effort with the Eagle Foundation and the Dayton Foundation.
