Kristi Sten began her employment with Merchants Bank in November of 2017. As a loan processor, Sten handles ag, consumer, commercial and real estate loans. After eight and one half years with Citizens Community Credit Union in Devil's Lake, ND, Sten moved to Fairview to be closer to her three sons who live in Vida, Circle, and Bozeman. Sten likes the small community and branch. "I feel more connected to the consumer," she said. "This bank has a relaxed atmosphere, not like a big corporate bank."

Jeremy Krieger is a 2004 Fairview High School graduate who moved back home to be closer to family. He has been in the banking field since 2005 starting as a teller and moving up into different positions. Starting in June 2019 at Merchants Bank, Krieger is a universal banker who is a teller, opens accounts, and will handle some lending in the future. He likes the sense of being home again and seeing all the customers come in to the bank. Krieger has two dogs to keep him company.

Bree Dean became a teller at Merchants Bank in September 2018. She is a 2012 graduate of Sidney High School who worked at Stockman Bank for two years and then took a year off when her second son was born. She is married to Kyle and has two sons, Marshall and Maverick. Dean enjoys the personal relationships with her customers, knowing how they want their transactions done so that everything flows smoothly and easily. "I like the dynamic of this bank. When you come to work, you're completely comfortable with everyone around you," Dean said.

Sarah Dion started as a teller at Merchants Bank in September 2018. She was fresh out of the Navy, living in Las Vegas in a tough job market, and made the choice to move to this area to be closer to her dad who was working here. She worked at Wells Fargo in Sidney, then stayed home with her kids, 4 year old Lucien and 2 year old Alyssa for four years. Her favorite part of the job is the people. "I like the customers and the personal relationships we develop with them. We pretty much know everyone who comes in," she said.

Veronica Melby brought ten years of banking experience to her position as assistant branch manager July 1, 2019. "I look forward to working with our customers in the area and the surrounding communities," she commented.
