Jewell Mae Blake, 79 Sidney, MT

Jewell Mae (McSwain) Blake, age 79, of Sidney, MT passed away on June 25, 2019 at Glendive Medical Center, Glendive, MT.

Jewell was born on July 15, 1939 in Thornfield, Ozark County in Missouri at her grandparent's farm to parents Kerman and Sylvia (Smith) McSwain. She was the oldest of seven children.

Jewell enjoyed drawing landscapes, making rock projects, crocheting doll clothes and baking apple pies. She believed in Jesus and loved cats. She was known for her hugs.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband Byron Edward Blake of SD, her parents and two of her brothers.

She is survived by her three sons, Jerry Hord of Madison, SD, Robert (Marcia) Hord of Laveen, AZ, R.C. (Rhonda) Hord of Sidney, MT, four siblings, five granddaughters, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Ava, Missouri.
