MEDORA, N.D. - The Chateau de Mores State Historic Site, in partnership with The Busy Buffalo Carriage Company, is offering carriage rides through the historic site property. Rides are offered upon request Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (MT) weather permitting. Visitors are encouraged to call 701-623-4355 prior to arriving to check availability.
The trail is approximately 2 miles long, and guests should allow 30-45 minutes for the ride. Tickets can be purchased at the Chateau de Mores Interpretive Center through 4:30 p.m. (MT). Adult tickets are $20, and children 5-15 are $15. Children 4 and under ride free.
The Chateau de Mores is a state historic site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. The Chateau de Mores site and Interpretive Center near Medora is open daily, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (MT).
