It's finally here! The ROI Prom will take place this Saturday, June 22, and residents are beyond excited. Thanks to the extreme generosity of the community, the ladies all have the fancy prom dress of their dreams and the men have their suits and tuxes. Fancy dinners, limo rides, and music will make the evening special for each and every one.
To make the evening even more special, please plan to support ROI this Saturday evening by attending the Promenade at 6:30. Vehicles will turn east at Taco Johns and continue on 8th St., then to the high school. Honk, wave, and just make some noise to cheer on the residents as they head to the Grand March, where everyone is again invited to show them you care. The Grand March will take place at 7 p.m. followed by the crowning of the king and queen who were chosen by fellow residents. People are also welcome to stay and dance to the music of DJ Ethan Hoffman.
Although they will be in attendance, ROI staff wishes to stay in the background and allow the residents to simply enjoy themselves. Many of the residents are not from Sidney and have no family who would be able to attend. Your presence for the evening, or even for 15 minutes, would mean a great deal to residents and staff.
